what question would you liked to be asked each day?

Posted on May 22nd, 2009 by Siona : Synchronicity Coordinator Siona
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for May 22, 2009:

I like to ask questions more than I do being asked, I think.

I'd go with "What are you paying attention to?"

Or "What is alive in you?"

Or "How could you make this moment more wonderful?"

Or, best of all, perhaps, "What question would you like to be asked today?"

Something like that.

Very Good! That is like, “What energizes you, and how can you do more of it?”, and “What de-energizes you, and how can you do less of it?”

Here is the question you ask yourself every day, Siona: what questions do I need to ask questions about?

Jim: Yes! I like that way of putting it too.

barbara: Heh. Too true. Can you believe it's been nearly two years?

Samantha: Lovely! Do you mind if I use those later on?

oooooo, can we turn this into a friendly jog instead of chasing? chasing just seems to take too much energy - oh, wait! the holiday weekend is over! i guess i'm supposed to be back into the chasing thang, but, hmmm, i dunno - the jog sounds so much nicer. ah well, looks like i'm still on vacay… oh, but i'll join the cheat run, too!  ;-P

A jog? I like running better than jogging… but I like skipping better than both. There's got to be a field of daisies around here somewhere.

:takes off skipping:

The polite question is. “What would you ask of me?”

soulmandala: It's been raining fabulously here, but skipping through puddles has it's own thrill.

buttemountain: That's wonderful. Thank you.

You ask those questions so well, Siona. It is so healing.

I remember skipping with friends as a little girl. I miss that :) Do it sometimes walking my dogs in the woods, they don't mind.

When I was in Indonesia, I was there for Nyepi, the festival of the day of Silence. The bungalow staff let me help them ward off the evil spirits with fire and chanting. Then ALL of the lights on the island are turned off, and I saw 100 times as many stars tiny little stars, as I have ever seen here. Then the clouds came….AND it rained….YAY!  No one can see you when you are outside in the rain, with only your b-day suit on at 12 pm…utter darkness. I could hardly see my own feet. I bravely fought temptation and did not SKIP at that time, just in case someone ventured from their room. But I did stomp in the puddles. It was a very fun night, with me myself, the hibiscus and I :)

Skip on sister!

ah, what a wonderful experience for you! yes, jumping puddles and rain sloshing are favorite activities of mine, too!

i'm just crazy enough, i don't really care whether folks think i'm odd to skip and such. i've gone on dates when, walking down the street, for no particular reason i'll begin to skip or break into song or dance or whatever! i mean, if they can do it in the musicals, why not in real life? (and if the guy can't understand it, he's clearly not the right guy for me!) if that's the way i feel, i'll just go ahead and do it ~ it's part of my personal Peter Pan conspiracy ~ i'll never grow up and never grow old, by gosh, by golly, by gee!!  ;-)

i never used to break in to spontaneous song and dance out loud and in public, but the older I get the more likely I am to do it.  my husband met me when I was a little less likely to do it and each year he is more and more either entertained or perplexed, depending on the day and the location.  sooner or later I bet he'll begin to join me.

seems like lots of people are just holding in that sort of behavior and I think the more of who just let it out, the more others will feel allowed to do so.

and siona, my head is full of questions everyday, almost all day.  I make sure to ask myself, what is here to be grateful for and have you expressed your gratitude?

thank you, siona, for your questions, your thoughtfulness, your playfulness.

and thanks everyone here.  this was fun to read including all the comments.  :-)

Dawn! You and I will have to start our own summer of song, then. I am hopelessly tuneless, but perhaps this is merely due to a lifelong lack of practice. Lalalalala… (Because I agree–your being bold and beautiful opens the space for others to do the same.) sunshine and soulmanada will, I'm sure, join us.

Send me all your questions, too, so I can ask the Gaia-verse. :)
